UJA-Federation of NY Rose Biller Scholarships

The UJA-Federation Rose Biller Scholarship Program provides scholarships to Jewish men and women with significant economic need attending undergraduate, graduate, and professional schools.

Hyman P. Moldover Scholarship for Communal Service

The Hyman P. Moldover Scholarship for Communal Service is awarded to Jewish resident of the metropolitan Washington area accepted into a full-time graduate program in Jewish communal service. Applicants must intend to work professionally in the Jewish community upon graduation.

Ronald P. Wilmot Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is awarded to undergraduate or graduate students attending accredited institutions of higher learning, who are children of gay or lesbian parent(s). Students must exhibit academic and/or artistic excellence and financial need. Applicant or their parents must reside in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

Stephanie G. Hoffman Scholarship Fund

Awarded to Jewish undergraduate or graduates accepted to or attending an accredited college/university. Students must major in library science, English literature, or related field, with the intention of working with underserved children. Applicant or their parents must reside in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

Marvin Anmuth Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is for Jewish undergraduate or graduates pursuing a degree program in electrical engineering at an accredited college, university, or graduate school. Students must show financial need, leadership in the Jewish community, and have at least a 3.0 GPA. Applicant must reside within the San Francisco Bay Area.

Vladimir and Pearl Heifetz Memorial Fellowship

The Vladimir and Pearl Heifetz Memorial Fellowship is designed to assist an undergraduate, graduate or post-graduate researcher in Eastern European Jewish literature. This combined fellowship carries a stipend of $5,000 to defray expenses connected with research in the YIVO's archival collections and library.

Fred and Ellen Lewis Fellowship

One (1) or two (2) fellowships will be awarded each year to deserving scholars engaged in graduate level, post-doctoral, or independent study to conduct research in the JDC Archives facility in New York or Jerusalem. The amount granted will range from $2,000 to $5,000 per fellow.

Dina Abramowicz Emerging Scholar Fellowship

The Dina Abramowicz Emerging Scholar Fellowship is for post-doctoral research on a topic in Eastern European Jewish Studies. The work should lead to a significant scholarly publication. The fellowship includes a $5,000 stipend for the holder to conduct research at the YIVO Library and Archives for two to three months.

CJH-Fordham University Research Fellowship

Fordham Universityâ€™s Center for Jewish Studies and the Center for Jewish History offer a joint short-term research fellowship in Jewish Studies for scholars whose research focuses on Jewish-Christian relations and who wish to conduct research based on materials housed at the Center for Jewish History and Fordham University.
